Description
Under the direction of the Director of Human Resources and Staff Development, the Human Resources Coordinator supports the day-to-day operations of the organization by providing human resources assistance, office support and administrative support to staff. This role ensures smooth internal operations and contributes to an efficient and well-managed work environment.

Essential Functions
- Assist with coordinating front desk coverage and provides back-up to ensure continuous professional support.
- Develops and post job advertisements, prescreens applications and resumes, and coordinates interview scheduling to support timely and effective recruitment.
- Assists with new hire onboarding to promote early engagement and integration within the organization.
- Assists with the maintenance of personnel files in compliance with organizational policies and confidentiality requirements.
- Reviews weekly timesheets, monitors employee leave balances, and ensures compliance with timekeeping procedures.
- Supports workplace safety initiatives by coordinating emergency preparedness training and drills.
- Coordinates staff and team-building events, including planning and logistics.
- Coordinates staff development training and summarizes post-training survey results.
- Develops microlearning videos for staff training.
- Assist with professional development and tuition reimbursement requests.
- Orders and manages office supplies.
- Assists with special projects.
- Serves as backup for bank deposits and audio visual set up.
- Other duties as assigned.
Salary
- Salary range starting at $43,000/year. Negotiable based on experience.

Requirements
Education, Professional Certification, or License
- Associate degree from an accredited college or university, preferred.
Professional Experience
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in human resources or administrative work preferred.
