- Senior Human Resources Generalist - Sheriff's Office
Description
his position is responsible for providing generalist-level support for a variety of human resource functions in the areas of recruiting/staffing, leaves of absence/modified duty, training, performance management, and policy and procedure interpretation. Work is sensitive and highly confidential. This position will primarily perform these duties for the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office in support of the needs of law enforcement personnel.
Generally, the hiring range is $78,364-$97,955 annually. Qualifications, education and experience as it relates to the position will be taken into consideration when determining hiring salary.

Requirements
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: A Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field and three (3) years of progressively responsible Human Resources related experience. Public sector experience a plus. An equivalent combination if education and experience may be considered.
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, & REGISTRATIONS: Professional Human Resources certification preferred. This position requires successful completion of a criminal background check including fingerprinting through a national database.
