Maintenance Technician
Position Summary:
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the proper operation, setup, and maintenance of packaging equipment in a structured cGMP environment. This role requires strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, as well as the ability to support production efficiency and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Set up, operate, and maintain packaging machinery
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical equipment issues
- Perform electrical wiring and diagnostics as needed
- Assist with vision systems operation and troubleshooting
- Support PLC troubleshooting (as applicable)
- Conduct routine maintenance and preventative maintenance tasks
- Ensure compliance with cGMP standards and safety regulations
- Accurately read and interpret technical documents, schematics, and instructions
- Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Qualifications:
- Maintenance experience required; pharmaceutical or food industry experience preferred
- Strong setup skills for packaging machines (required)
- Electrical wiring knowledge with troubleshooting ability
- Experience with vision systems preferred
- PLC troubleshooting experience a plus
- Mechanical aptitude or relevant technical coursework
- Strong math and reading comprehension skills
- Ability to work effectively in a structured, regulated (cGMP) environment
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed
- High school diploma or GED required
Compensation & Schedule:
- Pay: Starting at $22–$23 per hour, based on experience and skill set
- 1st Shift: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
- 2nd Shift: Monday–Thursday, 2:25 PM – 12:55 AM
Training & Development:
- Training will be conducted on 1st shift
- After successful completion of training, flexible shift assignment (1st or 2nd shift) will be available
- Highly trainable recent graduates (e.g., technical schools such as Blackhawk Technical College) are encouraged to apply
