Administer the attendance policy and progressive discipline process in partnership with operations leadership.
Mediate and resolve employee conflicts, addressing issues early before they escalate.
Maintain a visible, approachable HR presence on the manufacturing floor to build trust and stay ahead of employee concerns.

Support OSHA compliance, including maintaining OSHA 300, 300A, and 301 logs and other required safety records.

Manage injury reporting and first-report-of-injury processes in a timely, accurate manner.
Coordinate workers’ compensation claims with the carrier or third-party administrator, employees, and medical providers.
Administer return-to-work and transitional/modified-duty programs in coordination with supervisors and treating providers.
Track claim status and work restrictions, and maintain complete, confidential claim documentation.
Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
Manage full-cycle recruiting for hourly production, skilled trades, and support roles, including job postings, screening, interviewing, and offer coordination.
Partner with hiring managers and staffing agencies to meet production staffing needs.
Coordinate pre-employment requirements such as background checks, drug screens, and Form I-9/E-Verify.
Lead new-hire orientation and onboarding to set employees up for success from day one.
HR Administration & Compliance
Process HRIS transactions, including new hires, changes, transfers, and terminations, with a high degree of accuracy.
Maintain complete, compliant, and confidential personnel, medical, and I-9 files.
Support benefits administration, open enrollment, and employee benefits questions.
Administer leaves of absence, including FMLA, ADA accommodations, and state-specific leave programs.
Partner with payroll to ensure timely and accurate time and attendance and pay processing.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, required postings, and company policies.
Prepare HR reports and metrics such as turnover, headcount, attendance, and safety incident data.
Participate in HR projects and process-improvement initiatives as assigned.
