Based at our Ramsey, MN, facility, the Human Resources (HR) Advisor serves as the HR representative for our H2O Innovation USA entity, overseeing HR activities across the U.S. Reporting to the HR Director in Québec City, Canada, this role ensures effective HR services delivery while driving alignment with corporate practices, policies, and culture. The HR Advisor partners closely with leaders and employees primarily located in Minnesota and California, as well as remote team members across multiple states, to provide consistent, high-quality employee experience and support organizational objectives.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience);
Minimum 3 years of HR experience, with exposure to employee relations and day-to-day HR operations;
Strong knowledge of U.S. employment laws and HR practices;
Experience supporting employee lifecycle processes (onboarding, leave management, terminations);
Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment;
Comfortable working independently while staying aligned with a remote manager and team;
Good communication and interpersonal skills to support managers and employees;
Proficiency with HRIS, ATS, and Microsoft Office tools (or similar platforms);
Professional HR certifications such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR (asset).
