Responsibilities:
The HR Generalist is responsible for managing the full-cycle recruitment process while supporting a broad range of HR functions including employee relations, benefits, performance management and compliance. This position is a key part in attracting, selecting and onboarding top talent, while ensuring alignment with MACF’s goals, policies and compliance requirements.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:
Ÿ Manage full-cycle recruitment (job postings, sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection, and onboarding).
Ÿ Travel within the State to conduct onboarding with new staff.
Ÿ Partner with HR Director to identify staffing needs and develop recruitment strategies.
Ÿ Create and post job advertisements on various platforms (job boards, social media, company website).
Ÿ Screen resumes and conduct initial interviews (as appropriate).
Ÿ Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers/supervisors
Ÿ Conduct reference checks and initiate fingerprint process.
Ÿ Maintain employee records and ensure HRIS/Payroll system data accuracy.
Ÿ Assist with employee relations, including responding to employee inquiries and resolving issues.
Ÿ Support performance management process.
Ÿ Assist with policy development and compliance with labor laws.
Ÿ Support benefit administration and open enrollment processes.
Ÿ Additional duties as assigned

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. At least two (2) years of HR experience, with a strong emphasis on recruitment. Must be able to pass a background check.
