We believe exceptional patient care begins with exceptional people. We are seeking a collaborative, experienced, and mission-driven Director of Human Resources to lead our people strategies, support organizational growth, and foster a workplace where employees thrive.
Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer and serving as a key member of the leadership team, the Director of Human Resources provides strategic and operational leadership across all HR functions, including employee relations, talent acquisition, workforce planning, compensation and benefits, compliance, organizational development, leave administration, and employee engagement.

What You'll Do
Strategic Leadership
- Partner with executive leadership to align workforce strategies with organizational goals.
- Serve as a trusted advisor on people-related initiatives, challenges, and opportunities.
- Champion organizational change, communication, and culture-building efforts.
Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
- Lead recruitment, onboarding, retention, and succession planning efforts.
- Partner with leaders to attract and retain high-performing employees and healthcare providers.
- Utilize workforce data and analytics to support informed decision-making.
Employee Relations & Engagement
- Foster a positive, respectful, and inclusive workplace culture.
- Guide leaders through employee relations matters and workplace investigations.
- Lead employee engagement initiatives and annual employee survey efforts.
Performance & Leadership Development
- Administer performance management programs and leadership development initiatives.
- Support leaders in coaching, accountability, and employee development.
- Partner with Training and Workforce Development leader to promote continuous learning.
Compensation, Benefits & Compliance
- Collaborate with Finance on compensation, benefits, and workforce planning strategies.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
- Oversee leave administration, HR policies, employee handbook maintenance, and regulatory compliance.
Team Leadership
- Lead, coach, and develop the Human Resources team.
- Establish priorities, goals, and performance expectations.
- Promote collaboration, accountability, and excellent customer service.

Work Location
This position is on-site and based in Chehalis, Washington with occasional travel between clinic locations.

Requirements
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Seven or more years of progressive HR leadership experience.
- Broad HR expertise including:
- Employee relations
- Talent acquisition
- Compensation and benefits
- Leave administration
- Performance management
- Compliance
- Policy development
- Team leadership
Strong knowledge of federal and Washington State employment laws.
Experience conducting workplace investigations.
Experience utilizing HRIS systems and workforce analytics.
Excellent communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- SPHR, SHRM-SCP, or similar professional certification.
- Healthcare experience.
