Description

HR Manager-West:  The Human Resources Manager is responsible for developing a high-engagement culture to help drive business success and build relationships with business partners in a collaborative environment.  He/she must be able to think strategically, execute tactfully, and demonstrate strong judgement and handle the most complex and sensitive issues. Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, recruitment and selection process, conducting new hire orientations, assisting with federal and state compliance requirements, providing support to all lines of business in areas of employee relations, performance management, training, and other duties as assigned.  This position will support Pike-West (New Hampshire and Vermont) and work closely with the HR Team to provide a high level of customer service through the organization. The position is a monthly, salary position.



Requirements

Requirements:

  • Must be committed to providing and promoting a safe work environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources management, business administration or comparable discipline, 5 or more years of relevant experience, or a combination of education and experience.
  • Masters and/or SPHR/PHR/SHRM certification desired.
  • Proven success in recruiting and talent / performance management leadership.
  • Must be willing to travel to other Pike locations and work extended hours when necessary.
  • Must be highly detail-oriented and possess strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, along with strong public speaking and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite and HR systems with a knowledge of Success Factors is preferred.
  • Capable of maintaining confidentiality with sensitive information.
  • Ability to prioritize work and produce results while working independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to work in a team environment and assist co-workers or managers with other duties as required.
