R&M is looking for a team-oriented Human Resources Generalist to work closely with R&M’s Business Services team to administer and/or support a variety of Human Resources functions, including recruiting, onboarding, compliance, employee record maintenance and personnel actions.
This is an in-person position in R&M’s Anchorage office. The position will require occasional travel to university recruiting events in Anchorage, Fairbanks and selected Western states.
The Human Resources Generalist will be expected to actively participate and represent R&M in professional organizations (such as the Society for Human Source Management) and community activities.
The Human Resources Generalist will report to the Chief Marketing and Administrative Officer and will also work closely with R&M’s accounting team.
To be considered for this position, applicants must:
Hold a Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration or a related field. Have a minimum of five years of related experience. Possess a working understanding of human resources principles, best practices and procedures. Be organized, detail oriented and committed to quality. Be able to act with integrity, professionalism and confidentiality. Possess good interpersonal abilities for working in a dynamic, professional team environment and promoting the firm at career fairs. Be skilled in conflict resolution. Have strong written and verbal communication skills. Be proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel. Be committed to providing professional, responsive services to R&M’s employee clients. Possess a valid Alaska’s driver’s license.
Preference will be given to applicants with the following:
SHRM-CP credential. Experience with UKG Ready. Experience with Deltek Vantagepoint. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite.
