Famicos Foundation is a full-service community development corporation serving the Glenville, Hough, St. Clair and Superior communities in Cleveland, Ohio. Famicos provides affordable housing to those most in need—low wage-earning families, seniors, the chronically homeless and the disabled. Famicos’ vision is to empower residents to create an engaged, vibrant, diverse, healthy neighborhood where residents choose to stay, invest and help shape “a neighborhood of choice.” The organization has grown to 50+ employees across nine departments. The department directors form the leadership team that drives performance throughout the organization. As HR Manager, you would be part of the leadership team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Full-cycle recruiting for all departments
• Assist with department head-level interviewing as needed Conduct New Hire orientation
• Create organizational on-boarding Oversee org. chart
• Provide employment verification Create legally compliant policies Maintain updated handbook Oversee employee engagement
• Create and disseminate employee communications Oversee performance evaluation process
• Oversee and make recommendations re: open enrollment Administer FMLA
• Administer ADA Administer FLSA
• Offer strategic advice to leadership Mentor department heads
• Oversee employee engagement Conduct terminations
• Conduct exit interviews Answer unemployment claims
• Answer and represent organization on workers comp claims Provide non-technical training on as needed basis

Requirements

Minimum:  BA/BS Human Resources Major

7-10 years experience

Experience with HRIS, LCMS

SHRM-CP
