RN – Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Bowling Green, KY
Night Shift | 13-Week Travel Contract

Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Hours: 36 hours per week
Pay: $60.00/hour blended travel rate

Job Description:

The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) delivers high-quality, patient-centered care to moderately acute patients requiring continuous cardiac and clinical monitoring. The RN works collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure safe, effective care throughout the night shift.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to PCU patients, including cardiac and telemetry monitoring
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and document findings accurately
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments per provider orders
• Identify and respond promptly to changes in patient condition
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
• Educate patients and families on care plans and discharge instructions
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and patient safety standards

Requirements:

• Active RN license or compact license
• Minimum 2 years of recent PCU experience
• BLS and ACLS required
• Ability to work night shift
